East in Finland!

After spending a few days in Helsinki due to problems with the car, the adventure continues through southeastern Finland. Today's stage took me to a place as close as 500 meters from the Russian border. The roads here are incredibly beautiful and wind their way through a landscape filled with sparkling lakes and dense forests. The beauty of nature is almost overwhelming and it's hard to keep your eyes on the road when the view is constantly attracting attention.

After a long day of driving and exploring, I finally landed at a cozy campsite in Punkaharju. Here you are surrounded by untouched nature and it looks to be a perfect place for a quiet night. The weather is still glorious with 27 degrees outside. The campsite is located by one of the many lakes, which gives you the opportunity to enjoy the peace by the water.

Tomorrow awaits a new stretch north with more beautiful places to discover. Finland continues to surprise with its beauty and diversity and I look forward to what the next day has to offer!
