After another stormy night – a calm day at Kvænangen

After another stormy night, this time in Havøysund, it was time to continue my journey south. It's a strange feeling that it's more than 600 km driving south to Senja, which is so far up north! The day was quite calm with some provisions and a short trip along the sea coast.

It was a nice break when I decided to enjoy it and go camping - it's Friday after all! I found a very cozy and well-kept little campsite, which is beautifully located by Kvænangen. A perfect stop to fill up water, empty the toilet and tanks and prepare the motorhome for further travel towards Senja and Lofoten. Also took the opportunity to do a much-needed vacuuming, which was nice after all the days on the roads.

The weather surprised me with sun and 17 degrees so I took the opportunity to sit outside for a couple of hours and just enjoy the view and the calm weather. After all the wind I've had the last few days, it feels absolutely wonderful to have finally ended up in a place where the wind is fairly calm. It looks like it's going to be a nice and quiet night and I'm really looking forward to some much needed sleep before I continue my adventure tomorrow.
